Direct choice: Ebookers
Marketing: September 2006

Like most people, I hate that post-holiday flat feeling. So this pack from ebookers, timed to arrive upon my return from holiday, caught my eye in its attempt to snap me out of my post-holiday blues.

The pack is presented in a clear unbranded outer with a 'holiday photographs' wallet inside. The wallet contains a series of bleached-out holiday photographs with a quality control sticker asking 'is the feeling starting to fade?' These faded photographs are followed by some colourful holiday prints with the quality sticker inviting me to 'put some colour back into your life'. On the reverse of these colourful photographs are holiday ideas and prices for my next ebookers trip.

I am not sure if the pack is the ultimate cure-all for the post-holiday blues, but it does give me a fresh holiday horizon to ponder while I re-acclimatise with being back home, and the creative is excellent. On first sight, the pack is intriguing and invites me in; it then demands attention, using a fun and imaginative technique.

My only unfulfilled expectation would have been for some early-booking exclusive deals, but nevertheless, here is a pack that offers a refreshing change from the usual 'welcome home' rubbish that drops on the doormat.
