Rocco Forte set for CRM activity

LONDON - Rocco Forte Collection has hired Stephens Francis Whitson to handle its global customer relationship marketing account following a competitive pitch.

The agency will develop both on- and offline CRM communications for the luxury hotel chain in a bid to boost repeat bookings and encourage customers to visit more of its hotels around the world.

The initial campaign for the recently rebranded Rocco Forte Collection focuses on the opening of two hotels: Le Richemond in Geneva and The Charles in Munich. The chain was previously known as Rocco Forte Hotels.

The rebrand, which took place earlier this year, saw the company revamp its website and identity (Marketing, 8 August).

The chain currently operates nine luxury hotels, but has plans to expand its portfolio to 14 by 2009.
