Baby charity Bliss appoints direct agency
Brand Republic: November 2008. By Joe Thomas.

LONDON - Bliss, the special-care baby charity, has appointed Stephens Francis Whitson as its first dedicated direct marketing agency.

The charity, which recently began a re-branding initiative to highlight the work it does for babies in the UK, will work with SFW to raise its profile among NHS staff in the UK, as well as embarking on a number of fundraising initiatives.

SFW has developed a direct mail campaign focused around the idea of 'help is at hand', which aims to highlight the work that Bliss does and how this extends to helping health care professionals and neo-natal units.

Last month, Bliss published research that claimed that just 20% of UK hospitals had enough staff to meet recommended care guidelines.
